RACIAL EQUITY — CONVERSATIONS FOR CHANGE

Program Overview: Hosted and organized through the CL3 Sports Alliance between the Cavaliers, Browns and Guardians, this Conversations for Change event brings together youth, law enforcement and athletes for meaningful open discussion on community issues and strengthening the relationship between law enforcement and local youth through dialogue and reflection activities.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
This Cleveland Power of Sport Summit Series program encouraged participants to:
- Engage in healthy dialogue with listening and empathy about issues facing our community
- Learn from the experiences of athletes and law enforcement officers
- Explore how access to sport and recreation can be expanded and bring the community together in a safe and welcoming way
- Reflect on experiences at the Cleveland Power of Sport Summit Series and determine how to enact positive change

AUDIENCES
Local youth contribute important perspectives and solutions to improving our communities and working together to enact positive change.
Athletes can influence generations and send a message of equity and inclusion to the community. They'll help lead meaningful, educational dialogue.
